I’m a Data Science graduate student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), deeply passionate about uncovering insights that help solve real-world problems. My academic path has been a blend of statistical learning, machine learning, and data engineering, with a strong foundation in Python, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake and cloud platforms like Azure and GCP. From hands-on coursework to certifications on Data Camp and Udemy, I’ve consistently invested in developing a data mindset that balances technical rigor with practical outcomes. One of the highlights of my journey has been leading a capstone project focused on solar output prediction. I built end-to-end forecasting models using advanced ML techniques including LSTM, ARIMA, XGBoost, Random Forest, ANN, and RNN. The project required deep exploratory analysis, preprocessing of weather data, and performance tuning to ensure high accuracy. This experience sharpened my ability to work with time-series data and apply machine learning to sustainability-focused solutions, an area I\'m passionate about. Looking ahead, I’m eager to step into a full-time Data Analyst role, where I can contribute to solving real business challenges and help teams make faster, smarter decisions. I’m deeply passionate about this field because it brings together my strengths in data analysis, visual storytelling, and strategic thinking. During my time at UMBC, I gained hands-on experience in using SQL for querying and transforming data, designing ETL pipelines, and leveraging tools like Power BI and Tableau to build dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) with clarity and impact. I also sharpened my understanding of how data informs business functions through projects involving predictive modeling, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), and advanced analytics.
