About Srihari H.

I am a User Experience Researcher at Microsoft, where I collaborate with cross-functional teams to design novel technologies that leverage and augment workers\' capabilities and practices. I take an ethnomethodologically informed ethnographic approach that examines the social organization of work and workplaces and applies the insights to create world-class products and experiences that address real-world challenges, and both delight and empower people.I have a Ph.D. in Information Science from Aarhus University, Denmark, which focused on the future of work and fintech for next billion users in the global South. In parallel to my Ph.D, I partnered with Microsoft Research India, UK, and USA on multiple research projects, spanning areas such as IT and organizational workflows, hybrid work, remote collaboration, knowledge work, on-demand work, and fintech for financial inclusion.
