ABOUT SRIDHAR SAYAM

I am a technically competent Mechanical Engineer with professional strengths across Installation, Erection, Testing & Commissioning, Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Field Inspection & Site Monitoring. Currently spearheading as Inspection Engineer with M/s Rites Ltd, Kolkata, I am significantly contributing in quality checking and mechanical testing for pipe laying project (welding inspection) of Kolkata Municipal Corporation from Talaha-Paltha (Kolkata). I am also engaged in quality inspection for M/s Sail Conversion Works for TMT as well as structural steel in Durgapur region. Employing a unique blend of technical, functional and qualitative skills, I hold credentials of operating under critical time constraints executing crucial projects within pre-set cost parameters. In due course of my association with Larsen & Toubro, I have successfully commissioned all H.T. Motors, L.T. Motors, In-house Conveyors in Stock House, Main Charging Conveyor MB2 & MB1 and Vibro Feeders & Screens with the supplier before handing over to the client. I have significantly contributed in conducting welding inspection as per standards of drawing and carrying NDT/Ultra Sonic testing on the welded joints. My focus is entirely on quality control as per BIS Norms & also as per the company requirement and closely monitor quality management activities to enhance productivity and profitability. The intent is to ensure smooth operations with valuable inputs for process improvement while tracking flaws and drawing inputs to realign strategies for suave running of business. The outcome has been a steady rate of success in maximizing corporate performance and enhanced client satisfaction driving growth and productivity.
