More maps, less miles\"My research explores how contemplating death can inspire us to live more authentically. We all dream of living the life we\'ve always imagined, yet we have an uncanny habit of postponing the things that truly matter assuming \"later\" is guaranteed.Think of a student in an exam hall, staring blankly at the paper for hours, lost in deep thought about… well, everything except the exam. Suddenly, the invigilator announces,\"Thirty minutes left!\" and like magic, all the answers flood in. But now, there’s no time to write them all down. Panic sets in. Regret follows. Sound familiar?Life works the same way. We spend so much time hesitating, overthinking, and waiting for the “right moment” that, before we know it, we’re scrambling to make up for lost time. My research asks: What if we skipped the regret part and started living fully now?To me life is one unscripted improv show-sometimes hilarious and sometimes profound. But through it all, I have learned that curiosity, resilience and a well-timed sense of humour can get you through about anything. Beyond research, I am deeply passionate about teaching and mentorship.
