ABOUT SRI MUMMANENI
I want to raise the bar for health, where the goal is optimal, not just \"normal.\" My focus on health has continuously evolved, as I have seen how healthcare has helped and hurt my patients and my family. I have had many family members diagnosed with chronic disease and cancer, but only offered sick care. Since medical school, I have worked to move health away from the pills and surgery, the traditional way of western medicine. I want to move our country away from a reactionary, only treat when sick, model to one based on achieving optimal health.I am a preventive medicine physician who trained in Occupational Medicine at UCLA and Integrative and Holistic Medicine at University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil. I have set up onsite clinics that dramatically reducing worker’s compensation costs for large and small employers such as Boeing, Hospital Corporation of America, and AIG. This work also let me to develop telemedicine products and write guidelines for injured workers and telehealth. My current practice, Abundance Health, works with high performance individuals like CEOs and professional athletes looking for peak performance through nutrition, exercise, and medical interventions; integrating biohacking, conventional medicine, and integrative medicine creating efficient, outcome-driven methods for optimal health. Three things I love to do are: 1) Connecting different fields and disciplines to create new solutions. 2) Finding different uses for technology (new and old). 3) Breaking down complex ideas or concepts and explaining them in simple, easy to understand ways. Looking to grow services through investments and acquisitions, especially in mobile health space, media/content, and distribution.
