I am a Senior Scientist in CADD & Informatics at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited, a leading contract research organization that provides integrated drug discovery and development solutions. I have a master\'s degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, one of the premier institutes in India for pharmaceutical education and research. My core competencies include structure-based and ligand-based drug design, data enumeration and analysis, new chemical entities design, docking, virtual screening, homology modeling, SAR analysis, and molecular dynamics. In my current role, I work closely with medicinal chemistry, ADME/DMPK, and safety sciences teams in supporting drug discovery projects across various therapeutic areas. I effectively perform literature search for the targets under study, bioactivity data collection and processing from various databases, and 3D structure modeling from sequence conformations. I also design novel compounds using various software tools and validate their binding affinity and selectivity using docking and virtual screening methods. I have co-authored a review article on the recent advances in drug design and synthesis for a reputed journal. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to discover new and effective drugs that can improve human health and well-being.
