As Head of Cyber Security at ITPS, I oversee the cyber security services we deliver and ensure client risks are properly understood and managed.My role spans technical oversight, governance, and team leadership. As Lead for Cyber Security at ITPS, I am responsible for the development, direction, and delivery of cyber security services across the organisation. My role spans strategy, consultancy, presales engagement, and technical delivery, ensuring organisations receive practical and effective security guidance that aligns with how their environments actually operate.I work directly with organisations to understand their systems, processes, and risk landscape, translating this into pragmatic, risk-based security controls that strengthen resilience without introducing unnecessary complexity. My focus is on helping businesses implement security measures that are sustainable and effective over time, rather than treating security as a one-off assessment exercise.From the initial engagement through implementation to ongoing advisory support, I lead the conversation on cyber risk, security architecture, and operational security capability. This includes shaping security roadmaps, advising on governance and compliance frameworks, and delivering assessments that help organisations understand and improve their security maturity.My experience spans a broad range of cybersecurity disciplines, including security assessments, vulnerability management, managed detection and response, compliance frameworks, and wider cybersecurity strategy. I aim to provide organisations with clear oversight of their cyber risk, alongside practical guidance that strengthens security and supports the business\'s wider objectives.
