At Nordstrom, I work on modernizing POS and Returns & Orders systems used across 350+ stores. I led development of key returns features, helping prevent an estimated $7M–$13M in fraud and supporting systems processing millions of Sales and Returns. I’ve also built and scaled backend services for high-traffic retail workflows, improving system reliability and observability in production. As part of on-call, I reduced incident detection time by 42%(MTTD <15 mins), enabling faster response to critical issues. Previously at ZS, I developed deep learning (CNN) and optimization-based solutions (Genetic Algorithms) to improve customer engagement and promotional effectiveness, influencing sales strategy decisions. Beyond technical development, I actively mentor junior developers, fostering knowledge-sharing, collaborative team culture, and earning recognition from peers and leadership for my contributions.
