ABOUT SREELEKHA SUJAN
I am a passionate and dedicated social work graduate student with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in both school and medical social work settings. My journey in social work has been driven by a deep commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and communities, particularly those facing challenges such as autism, educational disparities, and substance abuse. With a Master’s in Social Work currently underway at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, and a Bachelor’s degree from Christ College, Irinjalakuda, I have developed a solid foundation in case management, counseling, and program implementation. My work is guided by empathy, compassion, and a desire to create meaningful, lasting change.Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have gained valuable experience in diverse settings. As a Special Educator at Asare Rehabilitation Home, I worked closely with autistic individuals, conducting case studies, creating personalized care plans, and assisting in vocational training to promote independence. I have also served as a School Social Worker, where I organized awareness campaigns, provided academic and emotional support to students, and contributed to community initiatives like the mid-day meal scheme. Additionally, my internship with the Fourth Wave Foundation allowed me to support child welfare programs and contribute to anti-drug policy initiatives, including the UN’s Iceland Model. These experiences have honed my skills in communication, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.I am now seeking an entry-level role where I can contribute to impactful social work initiatives and continue to grow as a professional. My goal is to work in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to social justice. I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals, organizations, and communities to drive positive change and empower those in need. Let’s work together to build a more inclusive and compassionate world!
