About Sophie Donnellan
I am a creative researcher and communicator passionate about the international governance of climate change and geopolitical cooperation. I recently graduated from Stanford University (\'25) with Distinction and Honors in International Security Studies.My senior thesis on climate displacement under the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) Honors Program explored questions like: In what ways does climate change uproot traditional notions of sovereignty and national security? How will climate vulnerabilities be used strategically by powerful players? I am eager to dive into these types of research questions in a full-time capacity.My current work spans from assisting with the book publication process of scholarly work on climate change and behavioral science to teaching students sailing and nautical science skills as a deckhand on tall ships. These roles have made me a powerful listener and leader with an eye for detail, positive outlook, and strong communications skills.
