Passionate about creating meaningful pathways for young people, I am currently pursuing research focused on Skill Development and Livelihood Training for youth. Over the years, I have strongly believed that the most valuable contribution anyone can make to society is the transfer of knowledge, knowledge that empowers, uplifts, and enables independence.My hands-on experience implementing and managing skill development initiatives exposed me to the real challenges faced by young individuals seeking sustainable employment. These experiences didn’t just shape my career, they shaped my purpose. Seeing youth transform their lives through training gave me a deep sense of fulfillment and a strong conviction that impactful solutions are possible when industry, education, and innovation align.Through my research, I am diving deeper into:Existing skill development frameworks and their effectivenessBarriers to employability among underrepresented youthOpportunities to strengthen livelihood programs through technology, industry collaboration, and future skills enablementPolicy insights that can drive scalable and inclusive transformationMy thesis centers around these observations, backed by data, real-world case studies, and conversations with stakeholders at the ground level. I aim to contribute new perspectives that can influence how skill development programs evolve — from design to delivery to measurable outcomes.I look forward to publishing my research papers soon and hope to collaborate with experts, organizations, and changemakers who are equally committed to shaping an empowered youth workforce.My goal: Create a tangible impact where every young person has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to build a dignified livelihood; and a future they are proud of.

Research Scholar for Doctorate in HRM, Sravanthi has Masters in Psychology, HR Management, B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering. She traversed to be Director Operations from being HR Partner to internal employees by facilitating HR Training programs for their career progression. She contributes her skills and knowledge towards HR operations with core area to be Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition. She is a career coach for youth and presently conducting a research on behavioral pattern of skilled youth who are unemployed even after completion of skill development programs set up by the GOI. At present, she contributes full-time towards the operations of her family business which is into manufacturing and trading of industrial batteries. As a social entrepreneur, she is a career coach and conducts exclusive coaching sessions on one to one basis through her set up called ‘SravanThoughts’.
