Hi, I\'m Rob, and I\'m currently bringing my unique intelligence to business at HSBC Bank. Although I look it, I am not a hardcore nerd but I have a real skill for designing, developing, and delivering solutions for SQL Server using my experience in T-SQL, SSIS, C#, and SSRS.I really get a kick out of designing and developing slick SQL server solutions that can be handed over easily for in-house teams to use.I have been working with SQL Server technologies for over 17 years and before that Oracle databases for about 6 years.My development expertise include but are not limited to: SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, C#, CLR integration and coding optimisation.I am always looking to improve myself and want to continue to gain further exposure and be challenged by all aspects of the SQL Server technology stack. I am a self-starter who likes to be proactive and challenge the way things are done in a way that is respectful and encouraging to team members.I have a feel for design and structure that I believe shows in the quality of my work and the projects that I have produced in my career all the way from conception, design, development and implementation.Here is a quick breakdown of my SQL Server experience- SQL Server: 2016 / 2014 / 2012 / 2008 / 2005- SSIS: Design and delivery of ETL solutions- SSMS: Design and delivery of highly efficient databases- SSRS: Design and delivery of flexible report solutions- Extensive coding experience with T-SQL- Experience working on migration projects- MCTS SQL Server 2008 Development- MCTS SQL Server 2008 AdministrationAnd here is a bit about my soft skills- Problem Solving - Customer Service- LeadershipOne of my big ambitions in life is to work for Disneyland inside one of their character suits.
