This role is a combination of Technical Architect and Project Manager. During my time with Avanade I have carried out various tasks for customers such as: • Technical Design Lead on Azure infrastructure for a large regulated environment build requiring SC clearance and strict adherence to ITIL Change Management processes. This project was to deploy the Siemens Teamcenter PLM solution on to Azure - the first time it had ever been done. • Azure Platform Lead – design and delivery of an Azure estate for a major UK banking group, adhering to financial services regulatory requirements. • Azure Technical Project Manager – defining and then delivering the global strategy for cloud with a major player in the Oil and Gas industry. • Managing multiple Azure Infrastructure work-streams with local and offshore engineering teams to deliver on time and to budget • Creating High and Low-level designs for enterprise-wide solutions • Application assessments for Cloud Readiness and Adoption • Building relationships with customers and business partners to become a trusted adviser
