Executing ideas with integrity towards impact2. Debating and piloting diverse service solutions for Education & Social impact sector3. Understanding and enjoying perspectives that prove me wrong constantly.These strengths have also inspired me to excel as a Mentor for GMAT & B-school aspirants, drive debates on infrastructure accessibility on multiple forums including Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, travel to Antarctica on a leadership-focused expedition, and present my story as a TEDx speaker at over six events. And oh, I am also addicted incurably to melodious Music, fanatical supporter of Mahabharat’s Karn, and a proud owner of a collection of 500+ fictional novels, with a deep love for Kafka, Elif Shafak, and R K Narayan\'s works. I am also an occasional blogger with a clear stance on being Pro choice, an LGBTQ+ ally, and demand for social justice than for charity. Finally yes, I am a person with physical disability too. Since the 13th day of my birth, I have been suffering from Meningomyelocele with neurogenic bladder.And if you are still reading, then there is more on my adventures, learnings, failures, and successes below!    NirmaanI volunteered as a guest speaker, panel member on 10+ events focused on Education, Infrastructure access. I saw the commitment it takes to make real, on-ground change. The crucial support needed from Industry, Government, and Individual stakeholders – required to pull off on-ground change. Most importantly, I observed the power of humour in bringing out the absurdity in bureaucratic delays and getting diverse people to look at an idea differently. Takeaways:1. Corporate middle-managers can listen to ideas on social impact. Commitment to change, though, must come from senior most leadership. So, always start top-down to get commitment. All other operations will follow.2. Sensitization programs are essential. However, mandate participation from those who need the sensitization. It is almost futile to invite people, who already stand-up for the cause and lecture on why the cause is necessary. Corporate peers wish to be in a position of power to drive change. Those in power depend on those on the ground to drive change. Those on ground look up to corporate peers for resource support. It is a cyclical loop with no single stakeholder having complete authority, accountability, or autonomy to make change. So, a lot of time is lost in just driving alignment.
