I started my Speaking business in 1994, wanting to be The Muhammad Ali of Motivational Speaking. What I learned was that Ali was The Sporty King of Boxing Thus I decided to help people understand personal & professional success as finding out Who’s The YOU of WHAT? You have to understand and ENJOY success. I believe that success is about confidence and listening; how people feel about themselves affects their ability to listen; that life is about going from one puzzle to another… you are either a small, medium or large piece of every puzzle in your family, social or business relationships. Yet, no matter what size you see yourself as, you are an important piece of every puzzle… and without you any puzzle is labeled INCOMPLETE! Thus I use the perfect blend of Humor, Corporate and Life Experience to get tangible positive results to inspire people, not just to have personal and professional success, but to ENJOY it. helping people contribute to the bottom line by envisioning themselves as an important piece of every puzzle based on feeling good about themselves. I call it The Top Line and with it, there are boundless bottom line results. With a keen focus on personal success, the impact of words on our lives, and turning the negative into positive, I am the author of 8 books of inspirational poetry & positive affirmations; Certified Humor Professional (CHP); 1996 Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking Finalist; finished as 2018 N.C. District 37 Runner Up. Even as friends congratulated me while at the same time lamenting that I should’ve won First Place… I unveiled my next speech title: “You Still Have to Win Second Place!” You still have to see yourself as a winner, enjoy your success and believe in The Top Line… It isn’t always found in First Place!
