A digital technologist who loves to derive insight from images.Imbibed with a banker dad\'s discipline and my homemaker mum\'s creative pursuits, I have always had the urge to prototype, in that regard engineering was the definite choice. Being a member of the Creation Labs in my college, I was part of a team which succeeded in building an EMG-controlled prosthetic arm. Furthermore, our work was appreciated and published in a reputed online journal.My next chapter started in Schneider Electric initially as a Technical Analyst, where I developed my software engineering skills. Being promoted to an Automation Engineer, I got the opportunity to work in cross-disciplinary teams across the middleware, software automation, and testing divisions. For one of my process efficiency projects in Supply Chain Management, I was awarded the Star Performer and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.My desire to enhance my skillset in the latest technology disruptions prompted me to pursue my Masters in the US. My love for finding useful insights out of data and my interest in solving applied vision problems has made me a passionate follower of developments in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics. In one of the capstone project, we had a unique challenge of building a Contextually-aware Autonomous Navigation Robot. Being a team leader, I was instrumental in implementing a supervised algorithm for scene understanding using monocular and stereo image stream.I pursued my summer internship in Siemens Corporate Research as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Intern in the Vision Technologies Group, where I had the unique experience of developing prototype solutions for semantic segmentation problems using state-of-the-art deep learning models and open source tools like Apache Airflow. I also worked as an Applied Machine Learning Developer in the Digital Libraries Initiative Dept.
