He became the go-to person for his family and friends when they needed their gadgets fixed or just wanted their VCRs programmed to stop flashing 12:00 AM. At the age of 16, he landed his first IT job as an on-call PC technician and started college for Computer Engineering, from there he worked his way up from building customer service and tech support teams to administration, monitoring, engineering, development, program management, and eventually consulting. During this time, Michael gained a deep knowledge of Splunk technology, and wrote several popular Splunk applications that have become well-known in the Splunk community. As the founder of Ableversity, Criblable, and BentleyPC, Michael has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and love for developing innovative solutions to help organizations maximize the value of their data.As a long standing member of the Splunk Trust, Michael is well-respected in the Splunk community and has contributed extensively to the knowledge base through his active participation.
