As commander, I am responsible for organizing, training, and equipping nearly 275 Airmen and civilians assigned to the group. The 118th Mission Support Group is made up of five squadrons and one flight: 118th Civil Engineer Squadron, 118th Force Support Squadron, 118th Security Forces Squadron, 118th Communications Squadron, and 118th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and the 118th Contracting Flight.Ensures high availability, deployment and recovery of base security, information, operations, infrastructure, and personnel services. Collaborates with leaders and teams to develop, implement, and assess Wing Strategic Plan. Advises and directs program management, business process improvement, and technology integration to reduce risk and cost, and enhance speed, scale and accuracy of host base services. Administers discipline and recognition programs, mentors, and seeks development opportunities for assigned Airmen to grow future leaders.
