About Shamitha Pichika
Hello! I’m Shamitha and I’m a current fourth-year undergraduate student at Seattle University. I’m also a really cool computer science major who loves solving puzzles and connecting with others over a cup of matcha. Some of my current interests include game development, cloud/devOps operations, and machine learning. This past summer, I worked as a Cloud Engineering Services Intern at Ollion, where I built internal tooling to support AI and cloud workflows using Flask, Redis, and AWS/Azure API integrations. I especially enjoyed working on systems that improve developer experience and make complex infrastructure easier to use.I’m currently working on a year-long senior capstone project with NASA’s Psyche Mission, where my team and I are building an interactive web-based game to help people learn about the mission through gameplay. It’s been a really fun way to combine software engineering and game development in a real-world, practical setting. If our game ends up blowing up, this is me saying I was here from the beginning (and yes, I’m also looking for full-time roles )I graduate in June 2026 and am actively looking for full-time software engineering roles. If you’ve made it this far and are hiring, or even just thinking about it. I’d love to connect (and yes, be hired). Please feel free to message me or contact me at s•••••••@seattleu.edu.Skills: C++/C#, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Python, HTML/CSS, RFrameworks & Tools: Unity, Android Studio, Flask, TensorFlow, Bootstrap, Git, VS Code, Kaggle, CI/CD, Azure DevOpsCloud & Platforms: Microsoft Azure ML Studio, AWS (API integrations), Microsoft Dynamics 365Relevant Coursework: Data Structures & Algorithms (C++, Java), Databases (SQL, HTML/CSS), Object-Oriented Programming (C++/C#), Software as a Service, Artificial Intelligence
