ABOUT SUSANA HINOJOSA

I currently serve as a Human Resources Analyst for the City of Compton, where I supervise recruitment and employee management, ensuring the City\'s workforce needs are met while staying compliant with policies and regulations. With over 5 years of broad HR experience, I’ve built a strong foundation across multiple areas of the field. Before joining the City, I worked in People Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, supporting clients with tax and human capital compliance. I’m a proud double alumna of USC, with a Master’s in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s in Accounting—combining HR operations with a foundation in analytics.Earlier in my career, I gained hands-on experience in benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and performance management through roles at Financial Partners Credit Union and ROADS Community Care Clinic. I’ve also developed knowledge in HR systems including Workday, ADP, BambooHR, NeoGov Recruiting, and uAttend. My focus remains on growing in HR leadership, particularly in recruitment and daily operations.
