I am passionate about harnessing the power of remote sensing and thermal intelligence to create actionable insights that improve life on Earth — across civil, environmental, and defense domains.With a strong background in geospatial analytics, remote sensing, and data-driven Earth observation, I lead interdisciplinary teams that transform satellite data into solutions for global challenges — from precision agriculture and water resource management to early warning systems and situational awareness.As VP of Data & Analytics at constellr, I oversee the development of scalable data infrastructures and analytics pipelines that turn raw satellite data into meaningful intelligence. My goal is to make high-resolution thermal and optical information accessible, precise, and operational for users across sectors.Before joining constellr, I spent more than 16 years at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam (GFZ), leading the “Remote Sensing for Technology Transfer” group and establishing the FERN.Lab innovation lab to bridge research and real-world application.Driven by curiosity and impact, I believe in using data from space to make informed decisions — whether for sustainable food production, climate resilience, or strategic security.
