Disrupted the Canadian roadside assistance industry by launching the world’s first Peer-to-Peer roadside assistance platform. Led the full lifecycle of a national-scale software and hardware ecosystem, combining mobile, web, and cloud-based technologies to connect users with both peer and professional service providers. Owned product vision, execution, engineering leadership, partner strategy, and go-to-market delivery for a dual-revenue platform operating across Canada.Key accomplishments-Built and scaled a full-stack software platform from concept to launch, managing the architecture, development, and evolution of 4 mobile apps, 2 web apps, and an AWS-powered backend serving users and requests-Led the development of a deep learning model using bidirectional LSTMs and Transformers to predict provider next locations, improving dispatch accuracy by leveraging time-series location data and reducing average prediction error to 239 meters-Established and led a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team of 14 (developers and designers), driving agile delivery with daily stand ups, sprint planning, Jira workflows, and performance reviews. Introduced mentorship strategies via bi-weekly SR/JR “Mix & Match” sessions-Directed all roadmap planning across stakeholder domains including engineering, UX, QA, operations, marketing, legal, and finance. Delivered critical features such as rural failover dual notifications (push + SMS), enhancing provider responsiveness in low-coverage areas-Secured high-impact partnerships, including Tecnic Driving School and Waze -Raised $3.6M in seed funding from Viking Assistance Group (Norway) at a $12M CAD valuation to fuel national expansion and feature development-Conceived and launched a hardware product line (4 SKUs) to act as a physical marketing channel driving software adoption. Owned product design, compliance (CSA/UL), packaging, warranty programs, and vendor relationships.
