Passionate mobile leader, that has led development teams spanning E-Commerce, Dating, VoIP and Productivity.I believe that the quickest and most reliable way to build mobile apps, is to empower a team of native app engineers that are passion about not only their craft also the product that they work on.I enjoy fostering a culture of building adaptable, maintainable and reusable pieces of functionality that can scale, while pragmatically balancing quality and delivery. I have lead teams that work on codebases with over a quarter of a million lines of codes with 0 warnings, while still releasing significant value to customers every fortnight using a Release Train.I work best when I have the autonomy to drive mobile in terms of ways of working and technology, while ensuring myself and my teams have the relevant context into not only \"what\" but \"why\" they are trying to solve a particular problem. I believe in not only getting engineers to buy into \"what\", but also have engineers involved in ideation and discovery for not only engagement but delivering the best results.I have experience scaling multiple mobile teams from 0 to more than 30 engineers, in both centralised and embedded models. In conjunction with this I have architected the respective apps so multiple squads can work independently, even within a heavy experimentation environment with multiple code branches. The apps I\'ve worked on have spanned Phones, Tablets and Desktops, internationalised for multiple languages, and offered the ability to be white labelled or embedded in other apps in the form of SDKs.
