About Spencer Chin
I started off my career in technology consulting and gained valuable experience in strategic planning, problem solving, communication, and managing client relations. After 5 years, I realized that I missed utilizing the more technical skills that I had built as a mechanical engineer in college and made a pivot to sales engineering at Sumo Logic. I started off as an individual contributor and eventually earned the privilege of leading an amazing team. I joined HackerOne to help evolve our sales engineering function and solve some really interesting problems.HackerOne was started by hackers and security leaders who are driven by a passion to make the internet safer. Our platform is the industry standard for hacker-powered security. We partner with the global hacker community to surface the most relevant security issues of our customers before they can be exploited by criminals. HackerOne is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in London and the Netherlands.
