About Spencer Stonier

I currently lead a group of researchers at the forefront of Emergent’s internal research, discovery and early product development programs. My group is responsible for developing and evaluating pipeline candidates to address pathogens that threaten public health. I oversee a research lab providing immunology and virology support to preclinical- and clinical-stage product development teams. My team also develops stable cell lines that are ultimately used for manufacturing.I am a data-driven, analytical leader with a solutions-oriented outlook. My colleagues will also attest that I have no reservations about jumping in where help is needed or requested.I am an immunologist by training with an emphasis on infectious diseases. I retain a passion for learning and infuse curiosity in all of my pursuits.
