ABOUT SPENCER JUNIOR SENDA

An ambitious and very driven individual dedicated to life-long learning and Railway systems/industry. I completed a Level 3 Railway Engineering Diploma, Level 4 HNC in High-speed Railway and Infrastructure, Foundation degree in High-speed Railway and Infrastructure, a BSC Degree in High-Speed Railway and Infrastructure and now currently studying for a MSC in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration @ the University of Birmingham BCRRE. Working full time for High-Speed Rail Solutions as a Project Engineer (Railway Systems Engineering) and part time as a PTS maintenance and construction operative (Controller of Site and Safety, Individual Working Alone, Machine Controller, Crane Controller, Slinger, and PASMA)I have been lucky enough in my short career to be involved in some major projects already in various aspects both white collar and blue collar. HS2 Curzon Street Station ( CSM System Safety team), Cambridge South Station ( Entry into Service & Health and Safety File management ), London Managed Station (SISS design, test and commissioning), Edinburgh Tram (SCADA test and commissioning), Birmingham New Street Resignalling (PTS cable pulling), Camphill lines Project (stations and track construction and maintenance, Machine Controller/Crane Controller, Slinger, Controller of Site and Safety and PASMA operative), Hope Valley lines upgrades (Track upgrade IBJ removal and CWR installation), Midlands Metro upgrade project (PTS On Track Plant Machine Controller, Crane Controller, Slinger), Trans Pennine Route Upgrade East and West (PTS Machine/ Crane Controller/COSS). I am a member of the I.E.T and working towards achieving my Incorporated Engineer certification. I am very passionate about the railway and infrastructure in general and the significant positive impact it brings to people\'s lives, economic and social benefits to society. My career goals are to contribute significantly to the industry and build on the great work others have already achieved. Grow into an industry leader, mentor and an advocate for safety, growth of the industry and promotion of the industry as a great and rewarding career.
