Serves as the management level interface to the supported businesses within this position’s area of responsibility; and has ownership of all application solution activities impacting business partners across Work & Asset Management, and possibly other expanding capabilities within the Maximo Platform.• Oversees the development of and executes application lifecycle strategic plans for the business, including new solutions development, assessment of options from vendors, etc, owning the results/solutions from end-to-end.• Responsible for ensuring the SDLC process is followed for all technology solutions for the business.• Partners with the Change Management and Communication team to develop and execute plans for application or business process impacts due to operational or project activity.• Responsible for strategic planning and support for all technologies within their area of responsibility.• Provides project oversight and integration with existing business processes and systems on behalf of the business.• Participates in the purchase and implementation of vendor technologies, including vendor interface and support.• Resolves quality issues, working across Technology Organization (TO) and the business as needed.• Ensures disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested within their areas of support.• Accountable for the successful delivery of configuration changes (i.e, code, databases, network, etc.) to ensure a stable application computing platform exists.• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, and change management controls.• Responsible for the development and management of the budget for the position’s department.• Establishes and maintains strong partnerships/working relationships with other areas of TO, business organizations, external vendors, and suppliers.
