ABOUT SPENCER KATTERHAGEN
I combine my experience on Capitol Hill, degree in economics and politics, and my time with the Williams Investment Society (WIS) to bring a unique perspective to financial institutions advocacy. My time staffing the former Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, Kevin Brady, gave me exposure to the intersection of the politics and economics through my work covering his financial services, trade, and small business portfolio. This experience - coupled with my experience managing a portion of the Washington and Lee University endowment during my time as a group head with WIS - has brought me to my role with Financial Services Forum. At The Forum, I advocate for the interests of our eight member institutions, made up of the U.S-Based GSIBs. We are creating a robust, inclusive economy by shaping America\'s laws and regulations to provide an effective, yet efficient operating environment for our strongest and most valuable financial institutions.
