WORK HISTORY
Mechanical Field Engineering Intern @Bechtel Corporation
Port Arthur, TX, US
Bechtel is a global engineering, construction, procurement, and project management firm known for delivering large-scale infrastructure, energy, transportation, nuclear, and industrial projects worldwide. In this role, I supported field engineering efforts on a flagship liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility, working across disciplines to ensure piping systems, supports, and mechanical equipment were accurately installed, aligned with design intent, and validated through field data, technical drawings, and engineering judgment.Highlights:→ Interpreted PFDs, P & IDs, and isometric drawings to locate spools, structural supports, and vessel tags during field walkdowns→ Authored a technical report assessing recovered water pump specifications, including seal design, pressure ratings, and flow capacity in hazardous zones→ Investigated piping vibration issues using CESAR II data and field observations to inform support placement strategies→ Submitted 10+ Field Design Changes to resolve bolt pattern misalignments, support interference, and hardware access constraints→ Reviewed GD & T-based drawings to assess tolerance fit-up for seals and flanged connections, helping prevent installation errors→ Coordinated with field crews to troubleshoot construction issues and communicate design resolutions on site
