Evaluate opportunities and alignment with Refrigeration Sales Manager and Refrigeration Engineering Manager. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. •Establish customer rapport and identify needs. Maintain an active backlog of opportunities to assure booking goal is consistently met. •Manage and assess project leads by meeting with the customer, gathering project information, and evaluating the requirements of the opportunity, along with our capabilities and capacity. Use the Traveler form where appropriate. •Use Cosential CRM system to actively manage opportunity pipeline. •Attend weekly and monthly opportunity meetings to discuss project opportunities/leads as well as current pipeline within CRM. •For those project leads, meet with the Refrigeration Engineering Manager to validate project criteria. If project moves forward, work collaboratively with assigned engineer to validate design parameters and additional information required. •For those project leads, assist with the development of the project design approach and project execution plan, estimating, and proposal: make effective sales presentations, and address questions and objections, tapping into technical and other internal resources as needed, to provide an effective solution. Aggressively manage follow-up on submitted quotes and close sales. •When applicable, act as the primary point of contact at project close out to ensure customer expectations were met.
