The role requires team & technical leadership while driving team growth and strategic vision. I oversee agile deliveries in a fast pace environment alongside product owners and key stakeholders, while ensuring the team are increasing code quality with solution designs and clear development practices and standards.During this time, I proposed and managed a complete team restructure by defining dedicated cross functional delivery squads, with dedicated squad captains, and overseen by technical leads on web, mobile and services. To help manage this restructure we created the Digital Service Playbook in Confluence to define our processes, standards and approaches in a highly visible manor. Key to the success of this team restructure was promoting a tech focused, trusting and high-performing culture with openness at its heart. Defined a new Agile Product Development Process to clearly define the transitions between our 4 core delivery stages; Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver Delivering key technical transformations including Azure cloud migration, business reporting and service monitoring & logging Introduction of team guilds with business sponsors to help oversee key strategic targets around Security, Atomic Design, SEO, Accessibility, Performance and DevOps Defining a clear release process managed in Jira and Confluence. This was a pre-requirement in our CI/CD vision along with a Test Automation strategy Introduced of a new leaning & development framework which includes a full stack graduate program and team up & cross skilling embedded into Sprints Introduced a Digital Goals framework across 5 pillars; Product Strategy, Agile ways of working, Design & Tech, DevOps, Skills & Learning. This was embedded into the yearly Squad Objectives and Performance Management Process Championing a knowledge sharing culture by promoting Blogging & monthly DigiKnow sessions. This was done with an asynchronous update approach to encourage flexible working
