Facility & Equipment Maintenance• Ensure the proper functioning of all hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, refrigeration, fire safety systems, and kitchen equipment.• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.• Conduct routine inspections of hotel property, guest rooms, public areas, swimming pools, and back-of-house facilities to identify maintenance needs.• Oversee repairs and maintenance of landscaping, pools, water treatment plants, sewage systems, and generators.• Work closely with housekeeping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in hotel infrastructure. Compliance & Safety Management• Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and health & safety standards.• Conduct fire drills, safety inspections, and risk assessments to prevent hazards.• Maintain records of licenses, permits, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for critical equipment.• Implement and oversee environmental and sustainability initiatives to reduce energy and water consumption. Team Leadership & Vendor Management• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and painters.• Conduct training programs for the maintenance team on safety procedures and equipment handling.• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, renovations, and upgrades.• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate maintenance contracts to optimize cost and quality. Budget & Cost Control• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service standards.• Monitor energy and water consumption to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials, ensuring timely procurement.
