ABOUT SPANDAN MEHTA

I am a disciplined and research-driven final year law student at Jindal Global Law School, pursuing the B.B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) program, with focused interests in competition law, corporate and banking law, international law and their intersections with business, finance, and innovation.My professional journey has spanned diverse internships from working with the Corporate Legal Group at ICICI Bank and the Litigation Team at Khaitan & Co, to contributing to the Technology and Corporate Law practice at Fox Mandal & Associates. These experiences have deepened my understanding of commercial and regulatory frameworks governing markets, data, and digital platforms.I have complemented this with active engagement in academia and dispute resolution: serving as a Teaching Assistant for a course on International Aviation Law, winning multiple mediation competitions, and serving as a Board Member of the JGLS ADR Society, which was recognized as the “Most Accomplished Society” during my tenure.Beyond the legal sphere, I’m fascinated by how law interacts with sectors like aviation, automobiles, and technology particularly in shaping competition, sustainability, and governance outcomes.
