ABOUT SOWMYA SRI

I have been working with data engineering for over ten years. In this time I have made data solutions for companies in healthcare, banking, e-commerce and HR technology. These data solutions are big, safe and work well. I currently work at GE HealthCare as a Senior Data Engineer. My job is to make and manage data systems that are based in the cloud. These systems help with analytics and operational reporting. I use tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, Spark, Python and SQL to do my job. I also make sure that the data pipelines are automated and that we follow the rules for healthcare data. I used to work on projects for companies like Deutsche Bank, eBay, Altruista Health and Phenom People. In these jobs I made data platforms that helped with risk reporting, marketplace analysis and population health insights. I always tried to make sure that the data platforms were fast could handle a lot of data and were of quality. I like solving data problems from start to finish. This means I like to collect information, design solutions and make sure the data is ready for analysis. I am good at working in teams. I like to find ways to make my work more efficient, automated and dependable. I work well in environments that are always changing. I like to work with people, from different teams. I am always looking for ways to improve my work and make it better. I like to make sure that the data solutions I create are good and that they help companies make decisions. Data engineering is my specialty. I enjoy doing it.
