About Robert Sovesky
I work closely with my clients to ensure that they are protecting all aspects of their intellectual property rights. My practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law relating to procurement, licensing, clearance, enforcement, management, and counseling. I am experienced with representation of companies of varying sizes, including fortune 100 companies and fledgling startups. Examples of my experience include procurement and management of patent portfolios, technology roadmap counseling, white space guidance, innovation evaluation, and freedom-to-operate analyses. My technical concentration is in the chemical, biotech, materials science, and mechanical areas. Examples of this technical concentration include, polymers, polymerization processes, foams, coatings, molding processes, metallurgy, hydrocarbon processing, catalysis, plasma chemistry, fluidic devices, photovoltaic cells, enzymology, and expression vectors. I have worked as a chemical engineer where I have consulted for the oil and gas industry, worked in the development of catalysis based reactors, and worked in the development of polymerization processes. I have written proposals and technical papers, and pitched, designed, tested, and launched products. Additionally, I have worked as an intellectual property coordinator where I evaluated contracts, evaluated innovations, procured patents, and managed the intellectual property portfolio.
