During my R&D internship at a major FMCG firm, I worked on multiple cross-functional projects at the intersection of data science, automation, and computer vision: • Developed a web data extraction pipeline using Python, Selenium, and BeautifulSoup, addressing challenges like dynamic content, pagination, and anti-bot mechanisms. • Built a real-time face recognition system leveraging OpenCV, dlib, and FaceNet for identity tracking and automated logging, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Designed an object detection model using YOLOv8 to process video inputs and identify target entities, optimizing detection through fine-tuning on custom datasets. • Created a portfolio optimization tool using TensorFlow and scikit-learn, applying financial data analysis and machine learning to evaluate risk and return metrics.
