About Sourav Kundu
As Group Product Manager, I currently lead a team of dynamic senior PMs building Test Observability which is both a software platform for BrowserStack’s infra products for test automation and also as a standalone product creating a new market category solving all post execution workflow problems for test automation teams.I started building Test Observability as a single PM building 0 to 1 with a group of 5 engineers. In a matter of 6 months launched an alpha product and took it through beta and GA to start generating revenue. With an NPS of +50 and monthly retention rates of 45%+ we knew that we had created something that users love!From then on we scaled to a team of 4 PMs and 30+ developers and in the process we also became the common software platform catering to all existing BrowserStack automation products with a revenue base of $100m+. Very deep understanding of user problems and creating elegant solutions for them is my forte while aligning founders and senior leaders into a shared vision is my superpower.I am an engineer at heart and hence I can effortlessly move from solving a deep hot partitioning data pipeline issue into presenting the annual revenue plan and GTM initiatives in the next meeting.I am a general manager PM accountable for both product metrics and revenue metrics but I also have specialist capabilities in multiple aspects of product development and GTM. As an example, I have done countless marketing events which led to ~40% attendees showing interest in talking more about the product and among them ~30% leading to high quality pipe. I also regularly attend Sales calls with C level decision makers of Fortune 500 customers many of which leads to successful business outcomes. In my role, I also got to work on messaging & positioning and also created ROI driven value communication frameworks that entire Sales team uses today.Before joining BrowserStack as a Product Manager, I completed my full-time MBA from IIM Bangalore where I was one of the top 10% performers.Before my time at IIM Bangalore, I used to work as a Senior Software Engineer at Nuclear Power Corporation\'s R&D group where I helped build India’s first indigenous Real Time Operating System where I wrote most part of the kernel i.e. Scheduler, Inter-process communication and memory management modules. I had joined the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt of India as a Gazetted Officer post my B.Tech in Computer Science and got a chance to complete my M.Tech in Computer Science while I was working there.
