About Sourav Kumar Ukil
I’m currently serving as Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for the Fall Term. I teach a range of Electrical Engineering courses, including Electrical Circuits (theory and lab), Signals and Systems, Control Systems, and others. My teaching also includes hands-on labs and MATLAB, with a strong emphasis on applied learning and system design.My research focuses on Learning-based Data-driven Control and Optimization, covering areas such as robust and optimal controller design, system identification, Kalman filtering, autonomous vehicle platooning, and microgrid optimal power flow. I’ve published at the Learning for Dynamics & Control (L4DC) Conference under the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research and continue to explore the intersection of control theory and machine learning in dynamic systems.
