About Sourav Saha
I am an anthropologist. I work at the intersections of religion, science and technology, with a focus on sound and listening. My research explores how emerging technologies shape and are shaped by collective belief systems, cultural practices, and theological discourses. I’m keen on designing innovative classroom spaces where students learn to think critically, write analytically, with care and empathy; a pedagogy that prepares them to connect theoretical insights with the practical urgencies of the world. Beyond academia, I’m a practicing musician, with expertise in songwriting, audio engineering and music production. Through musical concerts, podcasts, and audio-visual artifacts, I experiment with multiple mediums to disseminate knowledge beyond disciplinary and institutional boundaries, making learning more accessible and inclusive.
