Implement line operational procedures, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and procedures• Maintain optimum utilisation of equipment and resources and constantly review methods of WIP management and flow. Ensure the processes are in control using SPC• Involve in daily line sustaining troubleshooting on process and quality related issues.• Having knowledge of different process characterisation tools like Ellipsometer, Raman Spectroscopy, Lifetime Tester.• Experience operating and maintaining thin film coating equipment, vacuum systems and thin film measurement tools such as spectrophotometers and ellipsometers. • Maintaining various optical thin film deposition systems to ensure high throughput and high uptimes in manufacturing. Troubleshooting and resolving thin film coating optical performance, and equipment problems as they arise.• Manage all non-conformance material and scraps disposition as according to the process control procedures and quality related procedures. • Participate actively in key project such as cost reduction, yield improvement, Cpk. improvement, new product / process development, new machine qualification, process optimisation, throughput improvement and new material evaluation/qualification.• Coordinating closely with cross-departments to participate in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality & service using Six-Sigma, Gemba, Kaizen or similar applicable methodology• As an individual contributor, I am accountable for projects/programs as well as, developing methods and parameters, project methodology and/or project proposals.• Establish new or sustain existing standard operating procedures, conduct risk assessments for assigned workstations• Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organisations on the manufacturing systems.
