Keeping the Planet cool with Diatoms\" is a campaign focused on raising awareness about the potential that Diatoms have in CO2 removal and Bioremediation.Microscopic plants called diatoms absorb 10-20 billion tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) every year. That\'s equal to the amount of carbon captured annually by all the world\'s rainforests.Diatoms are considered the largest primary producers of oxygen on our planet. It is estimated that through photosynthesis, diatoms produce between 20% and 40% of the oxygen we breathe.Liquid Trees will annually remove 10GCO2e in 10 years by accelerating the growth of native diatoms in polluted open water systems.I am glad to play my part to support this campaign.
