Water and Wastewater Engineer, Project Manager and Resilience practitioner with cross industry experience in drinking water treatment, waste water collections system, climate related vulnerability and risk assessment, design engineering, planning, construction & project managementDeep works with a wide variety of clients to collaborate and assess their vulnerability to climate change impacts and develop comprehensive resiliency plans by identifying potential risks and opportunities related to climate change and design adaptive strategies that foster resilience.Deep has helped clients in developing and implementing sustainability strategies aligned with environmental best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to address sustainability challenges across various sectors, such as water, waste water and military operations.Apart from traditional delivery, Deep also has experience in mega projects and alternative project delivery having worked with the Houston waterworks team ( HWT), a joint venture of CH2m/Jacobs & CDM Smith, along with countless other local, national and international stakeholders, to expand Houston’s water purification plant capacity from 80 mgd to 400 mgd. A $1.8 billion mega project spanning over 6 years to tackle Houston area’s water demand, switch dependency from ground water to surface water & increase Houston\'s resilience to natural events in a sustainable manner.Deep is currently working on multiple City Of Houston projects including various Consent Decree related projects to help protect Houston’s environment and Houston’s OneWater plan, a transformational planning effort aimed at integrating Houston Drinking water, Storm water and Waste water resources to help prepare Houston for a better future. Apart from this, Deep is also working on resilience projects across the US.

Served a variety of roles including Design engineer, Discipline Lead, assistant PM and PM.Worked on a wide range of projects and clients from multi billion Design-build projects business unit in engineering, Construction management and commissioning to partnering with the city, engineers, consultants and communities to develop an integrated water masterplan for the City of Houston and collaborating with the Chief of Army Reserves Office and other Military offices to assess facilities\' vulnerability to climate change impacts and develop comprehensive resiliency plans. Identified potential risks and opportunities related to climate change and design adaptive strategies that foster resilience to bolster their long term infrastructure investment plans.
