About Sourabh Shetty
Ever since I took apart my first toy car at 6, I’ve been driven by a deep curiosity to understand how things work and a passion to build what’s next. From winning national science fairs to co-founding a deeptech startup, my journey has always been about turning ideas into impact.Currently leading R&D at Bempu Health, I’ve spearheaded the design and development of life-saving neonatal devices used across low-resource healthcare settings. From concept to commercialization, I’ve built products that are ISO 13485-compliant, EMI/EMC-tested, and user-validated. I also led cost optimization and scaled tech teams across firmware, hardware, and mobile.As a co-founder at Sourcenode, I brought IoT hardware to life, helping SMEs fast-track connected product development. We went from concept to revenue in 30 days during COVID, and were finalists at multiple startup competitions.Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about volunteering. For over 7 years, I’ve been with Bhumi, one of India’s largest volunteer organizations—serving as a city lead, STEM educator, and mentor in their leadership development program.
