I am an Electrical Engineer currently working as a Primary Substation Design Engineer at Burns & McDonnell, with experience in the design and engineering of High-Voltage (HV) and Extra-High-Voltage (EHV) substations. I am actively involved in delivering substation projects for U.S. utility clients, contributing to SLD development, station layout design, equipment arrangement, technical specifications, and multidisciplinary design coordination while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Prior to joining Burns & McDonnell, I worked with Tata Power in the Transmission sector, where gained valuable experience in transmission system operations, maintenance, and power network reliability. This exposure strengthened my understanding of power system engineering and utility practices.My technical expertise includes substation primary design, station layouts, busbar and equipment arrangements, earthing systems, technical documentation, Bid Evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration with Civil, Protection & Control teams.I am passionate about power systems and infrastructure development, with a strong interest in substation design, transmission networks, and engineering innovation. I continuously strive to expand my technical knowledge and contribute to projects that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient power solutions.
