Research Assistant at the Emerging Pathogens Institute of the University of Florida. We try to understand in details many type of bacteria with a focus on Vibrio cholerae through rigorous molecular microbiology techniques. My research focuses on co-evolution of Vibrio cholerae and their bacteriophages, the ultimate goal being to increase our understanding of cholera dynamics and propose alternatives for the treatment of disease caused by antibiotic-resistants Vibrio cholerae strains.
