ABOUT SOUMYA SANKAR MITRA
A driven Electronics and Communications Engineering undergraduate at Guwahati with a strong focus on semiconductor fabrication, MEMS technology, and advanced IC packaging. Gained hands-on experience in nanofabrication workflows, wafer processing, cleanroom operations, and characterization techniques through intensive training at NTHU, Hsinchu, Taiwan and IIT Hyderabad, covering processes such as photolithography, PECVD, DRIE, metal deposition (E-Gun, sputtering), and 2.5D/3D IC packaging.Gained hands-on expertise in 5G signal processing and SDR systems, contributing to cutting-edge research at Nottingham Trent University, UK, by implementing a full 5G NR gNB and UE setup using OpenAirInterface and USRP X310, focusing on high-throughput, low-latency real-time prototyping for research environments.Currently exploring heterogeneous integration and advanced packaging at CeNSE, IISc.
