Project Name - Horn cement grinding unit 100 TPH, SomalilandI am currently serving as a Civil Engineer for a green field cement project in Somaliland, East Africa, with a production capacity of 100 TPH. This project is being developed in collaboration with an UAE and Chinese investor. My responsibilities include inspecting construction elements, ensuring quality assurance of incoming materials, preparing contract documents, compiling the bill of quantities and drawing delivery list, and managing cost control and investment return.1. Inspection of Construction Elements:Conduct comprehensive inspections of key construction components, including but not limited to heavy formwork, reinforcement, slipform formwork, steel structures, and concrete in all reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures.Identify and report any discrepancies or deficiencies in construction practices and materials.2. Quality Assurance of Incoming Materials:Rigorously examine the quality of inbound construction materials such as sand, aggregate, steel, and cement.Ensure all materials meet the project\'s specified quality requirements and standards.3. Preparation of Contract Documents and Project Documentation:Compile and organize essential project documentation, including contract documents, bills of quantities, and drawing delivery lists.Perform cost control calculations and investment return assessments to ensure project financial viability.
