ABOUT SOUMOJIT SAMANTA

Myself is a B.Tech Civil Engineer, presently working as Estimation Engineer - Fireproofing at Carboline (India) Private Limited. Aspiring to do MBA in near future to enhance my skill sets in Sales & Marketing or in Project Management. I have already worked for a Real Estate Development company based in Kolkata, WB in the very start of my professional career. In the organisation my roles were to execute Civil Engineering construction jobs with overall supervision and Quality Management.Since 2015, I have been employed with Carboline (India) Private Limited. I joined the organisation as Technical Service Engineer, and later promoted to Estimation Engineer - Fireproofing. In this organisation, my works are evaluation of drawings, estimation, bidding, quotation making etc. I am also involved with Project Management for the sites, where our application activities for Passive Fire Protection is going on. Carboline has given me immense exposure to work in various parts along the country. Till date I have worked in leading Refineries & Petrochemical Projects in India, which includes IOCL Paradip Refinery, IOCL Bongaigaon Refinery, HPCL Visakh Refinery, BPCL Kochi Refinery, Reliance Dahej & Hazira Manufacturing Divisions, ONGC Petro Additions Limited in Dahej, Petronet LNG Storage facilities in Dahej, Haldia Petrochemicals Limited, IOCL Haldia Refinery etc. I was also actively involved in commercial projects like SNR Sons Project in Coimbatore, Reliance DAICEC project in Mumbai etc. Presently along with Estimation works, I am posted in IOCL Haldia refinery as the Project Manager to execute Fireproofing Works for Indian Oil Corporation Limited.In case of any questions feel free to hit me up a••••••••@[email protected]
