About Soumi Chakraborty
I am an MSCS student at UCSD, actively pursuing advanced coursework in Robotics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Currently, I am seeking full-time new grad roles, either for SWE or MLE.I completed my undergraduate degree at IIT Hyderabad where I majored in Computer Science and Engineering. At IITH, I dedicated 3 years to active participation in computer vision research. This experience, coupled with my other academic pursuits, has fueled my passion for computer science and machine learning.My academic journey has kindled a profound interest in image processing, computer vision, and computational photography. I possess a strong inclination for problem-solving and thrive in collaborative environments, as evidenced by my internships at Antora Energy and Salesforce. This journey has provided a balanced blend of academic learning, research, and industrial exposure. I excel in collaborative problem-solving and am committed to continuous learning and self-reinvention.
