Develop and maintain effective vessel schedules, taking into consideration port capacity, berthing availability, and shipping line requirements. Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel arrivals, departures, and turnaround times.•Collaborate with terminal operators and shippers to plan and optimize cargo loading and unloading operations. Take a lead role in vessel stowage planning, ensuring optimal utilization of cargo space and adherence to weight distribution regulations. Work closely with ship captains, loading masters, and other stakeholders to create efficient stowage plans that prioritize safety and cargo integrity.•Coordinate Baplie receipt and upload, generate departure Baplie, and manage efficient cargo operations. Respond to customer emails professionally. Prepare Terminal Performance Reports (TPR) and Terminal Departure Reports (TDR). Ensure compliance with documentation standards and collaborate with stakeholders for streamlined processes.•Utilize available resources efficiently, including berths, cranes, and labor, to maximize operational productivity. Implement strategies to minimize vessel idle time and reduce turnaround times.•Maintain effective communication with internal teams, shipping lines, and port authorities to provide timely updates on vessel schedules and operational status. Generate regular reports on vessel performance, productivity, and any operational challenges.•Utilize relevant software and technology tools to streamline planning and scheduling processes. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance operational efficiency.•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all vessel planning and cargo handling activities. Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to implement and monitor safety measures.
